OIL-MINE NIGERIA LIMITED as one of the leading oil exploration company in Nigeria, we have the resources and skills to play an active role in all phases of Engineering sequence including development, construction, operation, trading & marketing and basic aspects of Engineering field. We are looking for experienced Engineers to work on a contract basis, commencing ASAP. The job will be based at our company main office in Delta Sate, Nigeria.

OMNL as one of the leading oil producing company in Nigeria has equity shares in various companies and besides this also has general responsibility under a contract for the construction and maintenance of the Bonga Phase Project through its 100% owned subsidiary equivalent.

JOB PROFILE/REQUIREMENT:
Successful candidate will work in the Field and Project Section, within the Engineering Division, to support the Construction superintendent in the execution of his duties through the coordination, management and surveillance of installation subcontractors for specific pipeline construction and oil mining packages.

To carry out all work in a safe manner in accordance with site rules and regulations.

To contribute to effective team works and team building by working closely with other team members.

To maintain a daily log in the company format

To carry out quality control checks as defined on quality plans as directed by construction superintendent.

To be familiar with specifications and to ensure that works are carried out to these specifications

To witness critical installation activities as defined on contractor’s quality plans

To ensure that works are coordinated in an effective manner so that programmed objectives are achieved.

EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must have qualifications leading to Professional Engineer Status with a thorough understanding supported by at least two (2) years experience gained on Engineering or similar industries. As the post requires technical skills, for a management qualification or evidence of training would be an advantage.

Length of Contract: The contract is between 24 consecutive Months (2yrs.) (up review is likely depending on your zealousness and skill.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Applicants must be able to demonstrate good experience in a similar role, preferably in the petrochemical, nuclear or pharmaceutical industry.
